Butterworth Wharves comprise of four berths for handling an array of breakbulk cargo such as palm oil in drums, refined sugar, bag rice, iron and steel products and manufactured goods.
VEGETABLE OIL TANKER PIER (VOTP)
Dedicated to meet the handling of vegetable oil, the Vegetable Oil Tanker Pier (VOTP) is linked via overhead pipelines to facilitate direct loading and discharging of oils to privately owned storage tank farms. VOTP is located at the south of the Butterworth Wharves. Butterworth Wharves and Vegetable Oil Tanker Pier are dedicated installations used to handle this service. |
