Charges Payable by Consignee Or Consignor

GENERAL CHARGES

  1. General charge shall be payable on all cargo shipped or discharged within the Port of Penang, excluding the following:

    1. fresh fish caught locally other than that landed at the Commission's Wharf, piers and jetties;

    2. cargo discharged and reshipped to facilitate stowage; and

    3. overlanded cargo which is later shipped to the port of destination provided it is reshipped within 28 days.

  1. Wharf handling charge shall be payable on all cargoes handled at the Commission's Wharf based on the following:
